Today did a bit of wildlife spotting at lunch time. Courtesy of the RHS who have just started work on a hospital garden project at the Royal Oldham. Did you know there's an excellent app called inaturalist for identifying wildlife and logging pictures of finds in different areas?
Sharing some of the fiasco that is Wharburton Toll bridge. Owned by Peel Group. Most of the local population seem to have had a fine. Mine £176 for one crossing.

If you get a chance highly recommend the play Nell Gwynn which we went to see at Shakespeare North last night. Brilliant script, music, costumes. About Nell Gwynn one of first female actress in England and mistress of King Charles II.

Wow. Look at effectiveness of sepiapterin on blood phe in pku. We really need this available in th UK. The NSPKU will be campaigning. A normal diet is a real possibility for those who have the rare genetic condition with pku including my 13yr old daughter. #internationalpkuday
Having a lovely online pku community celebration with the nspku charity community on international pku day today. Got a great interactive panel as part of the lineup.
Not had the easiest time last couple of weeks. Reached out to bookclub pals for a book to help distract and decompress. This Nina Stibbe absolutely hits the spot. The first page was one of the best openers ever with a huge dollop of humour.

This is my current read. Set in Cornwall. A nice read as some distraction and a bit of writing research.
Haven't read that one but heard good things. Just read a book about artist Bryan Pearce. Really interesting.
