Last two. Mix of coneflowers, shasta daisies, and black eyed susans.

Coneflowers with different stages of yellow aster disease. First is no petals, only flower growing out of flower growing out of flower. Other is the disease hits after the flowers start growing so you get green and pink petals, sometimes stunted.

Alright! Outside flowers, painted while sitting outside in the grass. All of these are in various gardens around my house that I've been working on for 15 years. I'm at the point where I have a sacrificial section to bribe the deer to stay away from the rest. Black-eyed susans & Texas Green Eyes. 🌱

Rabbit had the dream again. He was king, the world burned. It did not concern him. "Rabbit Has the Strangest Dream" - watercolor from plants, metallic watercolor paint from the 80s (was my uncle's). Still need to clean up the frame a little more that I picked up from an antique mall. #art

On Wednesday, June 24th, I'll have a new piece up on @everydayoriginal.bsky.social The Cathedral - 2x10in watercolor in a frame I found at the antique mall The idea came after I smushed one of my other landscapes with a photo of a tree I took at sunset in January of this year :)

Did you know @backwardsknight.com finished his next round of edits on the 2nd book (The Forgotten Princess) of a series that I'm totally forgetting the name of..!? But I had done a few quick rough watercolor sketches years ago. This one's called the Library. I'll be painting the cover as well:)
