It definitely takes work (on top of my day job and advocacy - very long days rn 😅) but I’m crushing this year’s neuro coursework so far
Pleased to share that I’ve done well on an English test, which is required for a thing I’m applying to*. *(English is the only language I speak.) Stay tuned for more incredible achievements! 😆
Very much agree with the points made here! I especially appreciate how apprehension re: FND often flips into inspiration when clinicians see the tangible good they can do

Just found my notes from the day I got a call from the NIH’s Undiagnosed Disease Network, telling me I’d been accepted to the program and that they had a dx they’d like to test. First time I’d ever heard of FND. Written in my notebook for the intro neuroscience book (Bear et al) I was working thru
