A den of hyenas has had a very successful hunt.

They're lounging about their cave, casually burping out the lives of a bunch of meerkat prey that are churning in their bellies. There's nothing quite so satisfying to them as being able to cuddle up in a pile and to massage their swollen stomachs while their prey struggle desperately and pointlessly inside.

Over in the top of the cave there's a big rocky pit that the extra meerkats are being kept in, waiting for their turns to be eaten~ A hyena pulls a meerkat out of the pit and it looks down helplessly. Soon they'll be inside of a warm, cozy hyena belly! UwU

Over deeper in the cave there's a nice cuddle pile happening with a meerkat staring horrified down a hyena's throat. Another one is getting their face pressed up into a hyena butt! Lol! how silly!

It looks like all the meerkats are getting taken care of and having fun with predators. A meerkat stares down in horror looking directly into a hyena throat. They can practically see the tummy! Another friendly hyena inches them closer and closer~ Now they're on the tongue! You have fun in there, little meerkat :3c

For the meerkat's taken deep within the den, it's like a preview of the being in the tummy :3 The rest of their lives will be cuddles and teasing and hearing the sounds and smells of hyenas all around them, waiting for their turn to be taken even deeper into the belly of the beast~

Sam (they/them, a safe fox pred) is sitting next to Pebble (she/they, a bunny) while Pebble eats some grass. Sam gets more and more interested in Pebble, outright staring at her, until suddenly Pebble turns to look at them and Sam tries to play it off like they weren't watching the bunny.

Pebble goes back to eating and remarks, "you know, you're good. But you're not AS subtle as you think you are."

Flustered and embarrassed, Sam tries to deny that they were watching Pebble.

Sam: "WHAT!? I- ...um.. I was'nt! I-"

Pebble giggles. "Relax. You're fine."

They continue: "Hey, Swallow wake me up by *licking* me! At least all you do is look."

Sam sighs: "Ugh, it wasn't like that.. bunnies are just, I dunno. Interesting?"

Carol starts counting again, but Myst is already running. Carol slams her paw down, catching him: "oh no you fucking *don't*!"

She holds the struggling, crying bunny and monologues in an annoyed voice. "Welp. I can see how this is gonna go. This really doesn't work if you just run.. But hey, it's fine~ if that's the way you want to be.."

Carol grabs Myst in her mouth and swings the bunny upwards. He flails, and she rolls here eyes. "Well, this problem is very solveable~ Hold still!"

It happens so quickly that Myst doesn't even have a chance to struggle: a loud CRACK as Carol swings her head down and braces Myst at the same time and the bunny's leg is snapped into two pieces, the leg forming a disturbing V shape. It happens faster than you can read this description - in a quarter-second Myst goes from struggling in the pred's jaws to screaming in shock and horror.

Carol offers no warning, she doesn't hesitate for a second. She operates with a kind of casual, cruel efficiency that betrays her nature as a predator. For all of the playful teasing, the joking, she has no qualms about what she and her bunny "friend" are doing. She is bubbly and sweet, and she is an instrument of violence - as brutal and uncaring as any other fatal fox.

Myst is bawling and screaming. Whatever defiance he might have had a minute ago is gone. Carol casually holds him down. Even if she let Myst go now, the bunny is never going to walk again.
