I figured out the main reason I get hit in Mina and it's really hard for me to wrap my brain around it. Flying/jumping enemies, even though they're in the air and it doesn't make sense, if their sprite touches you even though they're JUMPING/FLYING IN THE AIR, you still take damage. It's weird.
