Genuine life savers - I’d be cut to ribbons without them! #doodleaday
Some actors make it look so effortless. Paul Chahidi is one of them. Finally got to meet in person after many online exchanges - one of the wonderful things social media can do. #doodleaday
I could happily have a wardrobe full of variations on that theme… takes the thinking out of getting dressed! #doodleaday
I’ve never built one before but having him helping gave me the confidence to go for it! It was fi. And what’s more, it looks great! Having your in house handyman is… er… handy! #doodleaday
Really loved the new adaptation. Very modern but kept all the poetic lyricism. And it’s a funny, exciting and very moving production. Girl next to us was sobbing her heart out at the end… #doodleaday #lovetheatre
For my “…Willows” play. I’ve always loved the ‘Piper at the Gates of Dawn’ chapter and it rarely shows up in adaptations. Thought a puppet was the most magical way of showing him. #doodleaday
…and having the time to actually do said crafting (props for Willows, some paintings, bit of filming). #doodleday
I’m actually looking forward to it all… brushing up on skills, learning new stuff, DIY, prop building, rehearsing… maybe even a little painting if I can find the time. I’ve literally timetabled my summer!!! #doodleaday
From the little boy who used to ‘help’ daddy, to the strong young man who I genuinely couldn’t do it without… #doodleaday
Strange the twists and turns life takes. I’ve never really had a plan - just gone with the flow and seen where it takes me… #doodleaday
Can’t say much more until everything 100% confirmed but there may well be exciting times ahead (well, for me - you might not give a hoot but hey!) #doodleaday
From the world of Mischief.. they’ve done it again! And what a talented cast too. #doodleaday #lovetheatre
It really has gone by in a flash. What an incredible ride it’s been. So much to cope with: losing Joy, Lockdown… but his quirky humour has been a constant. My lovely boy. X #doodleaday
A few interesting possibilities in the lap of the gods right now… very frustrating not knowing quite what way things are going to turn out… but I guess that’s life! #doodleaday
Back again this August bank holiday weekend for more fun and frolics! This kicks off my season of ‘dressing up in costumes and making an ass of myself’ season, continuing in Oct and Dec! #doodleaday
The mirror a constant reminder that time is passing - however, the body may be crumbling but our spirit is always young!!! #doodleaday
Small things like this bring me so much pleasure. #doodleaday #simplepleasures
Talk about highs and lows!!! And more to come… does make for an interesting day… #doodleaday #heatwave
Occasionally the daily doodle happens the following morning, rather than last thing at night. Yesterday was one of those days! #doodleaday
Ended up with a roll of paper about 20 feet long, crammed with such wonderful, lively art and a really buzzing student community. Amazing. #doodleaday
To say that theatre is a passion of mine is putting it mildly… #doodleaday #lovetheatre
As an artist, it would have been remiss of me not to mark the passing of one of the greats… #doodleaday
