Ok I'm kinda obsessed with Hell Clock. It's like Diablo cracked a roguelike and this was the unexpected surprise. It's quick, loot-focused and a whole lot of fun. And it's weirdly inspired by Brazil’s War of Canudos but like fantasy.
I finally played A Plague Tale: Innocence because I've been meaning to and I want to play the sequel. So when I discovered that a new game was coming out in August, well I had to finally do it. And man was that an intense rollercoaster. It's surprisingly disturbing and dark. Excited to play Requiem.
Excuse the messy floor but I managed to kinda get Zelda being a daredevil.

I am going to scream and/or die in this traffic jam. My 20 minute commute is sitting at 60 minutes right now. I've been in traffic that's not moving for 30 minutes already. I am going to scream.
Send me good vibes please. I'm taking both my parents to a geriatric exam Friday. Both at the same time. Very anxious about it b/c my dad can be...a lot. Especially when he gets frustrated. I'm not sure how long it's going to take so I'm bringing an arc of The Dorians by Nick Cutter to keep me busy.
I don't know if Amigos is a Midwest fast food place or if it's national (assuming it's Midwest), but they are advertising that the Yankee burrito is back. What's a Yankee burrito, you ask? It appears to be a hot dog wrapped in a tortilla.
I think I'm ready to open my draft script to more readers and to get some advice and thoughts on it. Any mutuals/people I know and can trust to not share with anyone without permission wanna check it out and provide feedback? I've heard from two people and their feedback was fantastic.
Slay the Spire 2 is getting review bombed (again) but this time it's taking us back to 2014 and Gamergate (now just called maga) because the critic who looked at games through a feminism lens aka Anita Sarkeesian is thanked as a consultant. So I had to post a review.
If you had told me even like a week ago I'd be addicted to a solitaire game, I probably would have laughed at you. Yet Forbidden Solitaire is absolutely my kind of meta shit.
Apple TV's got a horror comedy premiering Wednesday called Widow's Bay! It's set on an island! It's got a lot of hauntings, some aquatic horror and some very fun kooky characters. @joelipsett.bsky.social and I will be covering it (I just need to finish my part of this recap 😅) so follow along!!
I guess that's the first draft done. Some interstitials and a first act rework based on where we ultimately and unexpectedly ended. And then a small number of readers will get it. And then I'll expand based on feedback. I'm very shy about my writing so I need known feedback first. But. Yay!
