So I definitely want to highlight the generic maps portion of the Liminal Horror Deluxe Edition as it is one of my favorite inclusions we added. What parts or things would you be interested in us highlighting in a blog post about the Generic Maps section?
We also wanted to include a robust demo for those wanting to test it out (no purchase required).
During launch we created a fairly comprehensive digital package with all the things we thought would help aid in this true tome of a book. Liminal Horror Deluxe Edition
I've created a stock art/art pack collection on itch with some killer art that different artists have put up for use in projects (as long as you follow their licensing specifications). There's a ton of options that would be fantastic in a LH entry: itch.io/c/7751432/st...

The cast page from The Thing...it's a perfect example of a list of NPCs.

Remembering I won an ENnie for The Mall was such an amazing experience. But then again how could you not get excited about an adventure that posits “What if the Thing was set in a 1990s mall?” spacepenguin.ink/collections/...
Yoshitaka Amano’s Flames of Orion (alternate reality daydreams) I’m excited to get my little squad to the table with Hunter Tyler and Matt. Start a campaign. Learn the rules. maybe write a few scenarios of my own.
New Luke Gearing adventure means a new Liminal Horror conversion...but this time no notes required. This can be run as is with LH rules: lukegearing.blot.im/camp-corinth
There are worse ways to spend my 5am writing time then statting out cryptids/UMAs (unidentified mysterious animals) First up is the Flatwood Monster
New tapes I just got for the collection! Really excited for this stack. Escape From New York The Night of the Hunter RoboCop Cure Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust The Blob Princess Mononoke Paris, Texas
Wait am I older than Mac Ready in The Thing (35)...and Kurt Russell during filming (30)!?!?!?! I'm old now huh?
I guess everything makes it's way back to The Thing. Using the dramatis personae from the script as a template for the 70+ NPCs I'm writing for Nemesis. (I keep a notes app on the phone to scrawl down ideas and then transfer them to the manuscript). Also using Traveller 08: Prison Planet for inspo
Continuing my VHS Coastal Horror watch is Messiah of Evil. A major touchstone for The Parthenogenesis of Hungry Hollow. Watching this makes me want to run the module again...
New vcr is always an excuse to kick off a new VHS movie watchlist. I’m going for coastal horror to kick off my summer (and satiate the hunger Widow‘s Bay has unleashed within me). What should I put on the rack?
Doing my final read through of the Liminal Horror Deluxe Edition prior to sending it off. Josh finished the maps and is doing a few more design tweaks in a few areas. Reading through something you spent so much time with is special. This books weaves in so much in terms of resources...
Two weeks until between two cons. Honored to have the LH team do a talk as one of the special events: “4:00pm: "Things that go bump in the night: adding horror to your game." Join the Liminal Horror crew as they talk about how to bring horror into your game in a meaningful way.”
I'm I pivoting to be a miniature skirmish game designer, no. Am I working on some fun mini (pun intended) side projects as an excuse to get these bad boys to the table more...yes. Featuring my nasty freak goblin squad for Cauldron and my maximalist mech crew for Flames of Orion.
The only minis I own are painted by others so I can continually nod my head slowly at how cool they are. Mechs painted by my good friend Tyler the mighty odd Welch. Goblins and co painted by someone in the 70s who’d name is lost to time. But I love them, my nasty little freaks.
@unenthuser.bsky.social is making the final design push on the Liminal Horror Deluxe Edition. This book is truly something special. Here’s some excerpts from the. Haunted Pacific Northwest setting guide as well as some of the reference aides (character creation + procedure of play).
