Huge congrats to @byodinsbeardrpg.com for Midnight of the Century! I had a blast with the QuickStart last year and have been dying for the full version to arrive. Got a campaign planned for later this year.
The magic of Bloodborne is that Yharnam feels so much bigger than is is when you lay it out. But someone needs to do a "Roots of Old Kalduhr" treatment for this and make a version of the city for Trophy Gold.
It doesn't. Those numbers are unit sales from their 2025 financial report, which are publicly available. If you factor in all digital purchases like DLC and microtransactions, around 95% of total game revenue for PlayStation comes from digital products. The clip below is just '23 and '24.
Mold Mold Mold by Nick Borelli, a book about making weird kitbashed minis.
The full Kala Mandala line from @munkao.bsky.social, the Southeast Asian medieval fantasy game. Been champing at the bit for this one and only owned the digital, so I was thrilled to get my hands on it.
Death Cut in Stone by @theweeklyscroll.com, an old west skirmish game built out of Luke Gearing’s Violence.
Chainmail Dungeon by @gomezwrites.bsky.social, postcard dungeons that you can fill out and send to your friends.
The updated version of Trapped in Endless i-kräla by Javier Loustaunau, the Liminal Horror scenario where you’re stuck in a randomly generated homegoods store.
Bloodstarved from Michael Medaglia and Dark Future. You play as vampires desperately trying to feed their hunger while keeping their true nature hidden. This was actually an advanced copy I was gifted, as it’s actively on Backerkit right now.
Behold the beacon. Come find @goblinarchives.itch.io, @emo-sludge.com, and I in the flesh space at Between 2 Cons this weekend!
For the street cred, this shit’s so serious that 2018’s GOW led to two tattoos. Which has been a bit awkward in retrospect given the whole right wing adoption of Norse symbols, but we can unpack that later.
But holy shit do they love cinematic lighting in that show. So many fucking killer shots where uses someone's glasses to reflect the lighting. Or shots in the dark where you can actually see what's going on.
I miss the wild west of tie-in media of the 90s, where companies would be pumping out the sickest shit imagine for ultimately rather small audiences. Like these come from Resident Evil: The Official Comic Magazine from '98. They were even produced by fucking Jim Lee and WildStorm.
One of the things we're working on for the Liminal Horror Deluxe Edition is a series of generic locations that you can then populate with the other pieces of the book. I think it's a really good sign that as I'm drafting these, I've constantly got the "I need to use this in a session now" bug.
Perched at the very tip of my hierarchy of needs is the Resident Evil 4 chainsaw controller. I fear I will not reach self-actualization without it!
Clive Barker I’m sorry, I was not familiar with your game.
So Mythic Bastionland uses d12+d6 for stat generation instead of 3d6. This does interesting things to the probability curve, as the highs and lows are swingier but the middle flattens out. If you were to play "heroic" characters, would this be a preferable distribution to you, or is 3d6 better?
For Orbital Blues Month I’ll be teaming up with @chrisair.itch.io and @lurnoise.bsky.social to bring you Paramour, an adventure of lost love and the emotional turmoil that comes with it. Join us for “one last job” in an icy city, dodging corporate goons and bounty hunters. 🔗⬇️
Anyone know how to make one of these type of ragged edges in Affinity 2 in a customizable manner that isn't just a texture snagged from elsewhere?. Preferably a vector brush or something of that sort, but a pixel/raster is fine.
Publisher pretty much already does this anyway if you've got all 3. You don't get access to some of the "sub personas" under Designer and Photo, but you can swap over and get basic functionality without having to actually open the other programs directly.
There's the Consent Checklist from the Consent in Gaming document. I've also seen folks having something similar setup to facilitate Lines & Veils.
