Y'all. Article designs are DONE. LIKE DONE DONE. Just the remaining pages (table of contents, Editor Letter, and Work Cited) left and then it's off to QA and test print proof.

BUT something I have learned is that there is a handheld vein scanner / viewer so places have that can easily show where your veins are. Red flag are the ones (usually cocky ones) say they don't need it and find it to be annoying only for them in the end to use it. 🙃

Managed to snag the Inuyasha Best Of 2 CD because you cannot get Namie Amuro’s music anymore (at least from streaming) Bummed the jewel card arrived damaged. The seller didn’t provide much protection. ☹️ Thankfully, it is replaceable

It’s time!

I had such a fun time!! I will say right afterwards my adrenaline was through the roof so I felt very tired once I calmed down! It was lovely to chat with everyone and give folks insight of the makings of the AH magazine and what they could take from it. We even made a few sales afterwards!!

It's wild to get a manga review copy from a publisher and see MY NAME in the production credits! 💖 😭 (also seeing @okazu.yuricon.com's name too is an added bonus!)

35 hours from Chester, Vermont to Harlingen, Texas to deal with my father's hoarder house after his passing, stopping only to sleep and then drove back up after a few days (additional 35 hours).

OFFICIALLY getting back into working after being off for the last 2 weeks and already feeling overwhelmed 🫠 (shush, no, you didn't see me working last week. )

Something to add to this is a lot of these illegal sites (anime or manga) usually have way better filtering systems than what legal options offer and give you the chance to hone in on what you want to watch. Sites like CR limit their search to curated lists and basic search results/filters.
