Good morning morning from Lower Manhattan. Ella 🐶 and I came upon festive buses ready for parade participants. Out-of-town fans dressed in blue and orange invaded Ella’s own private daily parade route. Everyone is happy. You can feel it. #NYC

Here’s my mom, from Korea, at her dorm International House at the University of Chicago. She died in 2004. Wish I could talk with her now, so much to tell her. Life is getting harder. Or at least could I taste her cooking again. ❤️
