I was unable to go to the farm all week, so I bought a papaya from the supermarket. And believe me, it was not as good as my own farm-grown papayas. 😩 I went straight back to the farm and picked these beauties. 😊 #The_Eco_Spiritual_Experience 🌱

You can really see the effects of the long drought on our banana suckers. We’re replanting now, making sure each sucker is close to a drip-line emitter. #The_Eco_Spiritual_Experience 🌱

This has been one of the worst years for soursop. The fruits developed during a very dry period, so they stayed small. Then the sun became so intense that many of them simply burned. 😑 Not even the monkeys wanted them. 😂 #The_Eco_Spiritual_Experience 🌱

Today we celebrate Emancipation Day, and I'm making stewed saltfish, also called codfish. Saltfish became a staple during slavery and remained popular after emancipation because it was affordable. Today it's so expensive that many of us save it for special occasions. #CaribbeanKitchenClub 🍽️🌱😊
