Today we’re proud to share our support throughout Farmington and Farmington Hills. From the four years I represented these communities in the Legislature to the last year on the campaign trail for Congress, I’ve shown up and built lasting relationships. Let’s make our voices heard in Washington!
Thank you to everyone who came out to our meet and greet in Huntington Woods! I’m grateful for the conversations, the questions, and the chance to hear directly from the people of the district.
With just 12 days until Election Day, we're spotlighting our journey through the communities that make up MI-11, starting in Pontiac and Auburn Hills — cities I've been proud to represent in the State Senate and where I’ll continue our fight in Congress.
Feeling the energy at the UAW Region 1 Retirees picnic today! Michigan’s retirees built the middle class, and they deserve a government that fights for them. I’m proud to be endorsed by the UAW and will always stand by them.
Trump is pressuring his allies in Congress to pass the SAVE Act, which would make it harder for Americans to vote. We cannot let that happen. I've fought to expand voting rights and protect our elections here in Michigan. I'll take that fight to Congress.
Democrats from all over the district, from Royal Oak to Farmington Hills, are fired up to take back majorities in both the US House and the Michigan House. Because they know it means we can put a check on Trump and make real progress for Michiganders.
The skies have cleared (slightly) and we got to enjoy the lively Farmington Founders Day festival!
Our Michigan firefighters keep our communities safe and have our backs. And I have theirs as they fight for fair contracts, adequate staffing, and affordable healthcare. I’m proud to earn their endorsement.
A Pure Michigan summer day ☀️ and we’re out everywhere! 8:30am: Sunday morning service at Welcome Missionary Baptist 12:30pm: Summer picnic with West Bloomfield Area Democrats 2:30pm: Grand opening of Pontiac Oaks, Oakland County’s newest park
I stopped by Pontiac Council President Austin’s cookout to share more about all the big wins we’re delivering for our county seat!
I toured Bricklayers Local 2’s Training Center to meet the next generation of skilled trades workers. I learned a few bricklaying skills and saw firsthand the world-class training. This program is a model for preparing young people earn good-paying jobs and building Michigan’s future.
The Clawson Fourth of July Parade is an Oakland County tradition! We were so proud to celebrate America’s 250th birthday and keep up the fight for a more perfect union.
Hear it from the Free Press: I’m the candidate in District 11 who is ready to stand up for Oakland County in Congress
🚨 BREAKING: We’ve been endorsed by the @freep.com ! I’m the only candidate who has the needed legislative experience on the issues most important to you, saving our healthcare from Trump cuts, expanding voting access, and fighting corporate greed.
From reinvesting in our county seat Pontiac to advancing civil rights to protecting our democracy, Dave Coulter and I have worked closely together to improve the lives of families in Oakland County. I’m honored to earn Dave’s endorsement, and I look forward to continuing our partnership in Congress.
Thank you to Rep. Scholten for having my back! She has won tough elections, built strong coalitions, and delivered for Michigan families and I look forward to working with her in Congress.
I’m proud to earn the endorsement of the Pipefitters of UA Local 636. Pipefitters keep Michigan running, and they've always fought for good-paying union jobs, safe workplaces, and strong communities. In Congress, I'll fight alongside them to protect workers' rights and invest in our infrastructure.
Michiganders, it’s finally 40 days away from the August 4th election. Do you know what that means? If you’re on the permanent absentee ballot list, your ballots are on their way! Can’t wait to vote for me? You can go to your clerk's office starting today to request your ballot.
Last night was so special to celebrate a milestone birthday with so many friends, family, and supporters. 40 is still young for Congress!
Everywhere I go in Oakland County, voters tell me they want a tougher, bolder, and stronger Democratic Party to confront Trump’s chaos. I’m running for Congress in MI-11 because I’ve taken on these fights and won. Check out our first ad in the primary:
Thank you to Downtown Publications for the endorsement! I’m ready to take my record of results from Lansing to Washington D.C.
I had a busy weekend meeting voters from Madison Heights to Pontiac, sharing my vision for Congress and how I’ll fight for your rights and make Michigan affordable for you.
Thank you to the Bricklayers Local 2 for their endorsement! Their cutting-edge apprenticeship programs are creating pathways to good-paying union jobs and strengthening Michigan’s workforce. These are exactly the kinds of workforce training programs I’ll fight to support and expand in Congress.
I joined the celebration of Black liberation and freedom at the Juneteenth Festival in downtown Pontiac, where we are making so much progress to revitalize and grow our county seat.
The UAW and the labor movement have protected Michigan working families for decades. I’m proud to earn UAW Region 1’s endorsement of my campaign.
Fresh off the heels of the Indivisible Fighting 9 Endorsement, I joined Indivisible Huron Valley in west Oakland County to share about my campaign for Congress and how we’ll protect our democracy from Donald Trump’s dangerous extremism!
One year ago today, I launched my campaign for MI-11 promising to bring new bold energy to fight for our values in Congress. We’ve met thousands of voters and have earned support from the grassroots to the Governor. And we’re just getting started!
