I transitioned at 57, seven years ago. "I'm in my 50s, I'm not spending another birthday living like this, and I don't give a shit." It turns out it wasn't profound social anxiety, it was undiagnosed gender dysphoria. Happy, proud, and the stuff of terf nightmares. It's NEVER too late.

Starting my 65th orbit of the sun - and my eighth as Jillian. Coming out was a process, but my 57th birthday was the no-turning-back point. Yeah, I'm old, but I'm here and I'm queer (and happier and more comfortable in myself than I ever imagined possible). Get used to it.
