BREAKING: Labor's fuel tax cut for July has just passed the Parliament which will save motorists around $11 every time you fill up your tank. It's just one way we're delivering cost of living relief, with another round of tax cuts for every taxpayer rolling out from this Wednesday as well.

Spent some time with young retail workers brought to Canberra by the SDA today, hearing about their goals and talking about our efforts to cut their taxes, boost their wages and super, and make it easier for them to buy their first home.

BREAKING: We've just introduced legislation to cut fuel taxes for another month. This is more support that'll help take the sting out of prices and help more Australians with the cost of living.⁩⁩

Analysis from Treasury of new ATO data for 2023-24 shows that 0.2% of tax filers earned around 60% of all the net capital gains income, while 99% of tax filers earned only 13%. We are making the tax system fairer for workers, first home buyers and young Australians.

BREAKING: Every one of the 2.7M active small businesses in this country will now have access to generous CGT concessions, and 98% of all active businesses will be eligible for these concessions.
