Every reviewer who applies is personally vetted by me to confirm they are legit. About 10% of the initial applicants were asked for further proof of recent reviews. Nobody but approved reviewers can access or even see the library.

I thought I'd take a minute to answer some of the common questions I've been asked by reviewers and authors about exactly how BookMatch works. If you have any other questions, you can find contact details on the site.

Is there a commitment for reviewers to read and review a certain number of books? A. Nope. All we're doing is making it easier for authors to submit their books to reviewers who read their genres. It's no different than if they submitted a book directly. It's up to the reviewers whether they read and review. We are a matchmaking service, not a review service.
