The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a landmark civil rights law that has helped millions of people with disabilities and their families live safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives. 1/3
I recently spoke with NephCure about their work on rare kidney diseases. We need to increase access to early diagnosis and educate medical providers on the best treatments. We should always think about how to increase access to care so all Americans can live healthy lives.
Reflecting on what MediKids, healthcare for every kid, means to me as a dad.
Did you know that 1 in 3 kids are underinsured? This means about 23 million kids' healthcare is unable to meet their needs. MediKids solves this problem by guaranteeing comprehensive healthcare for EVERY child. It’s a no-brainer.
Details of the U.S.-Saudi civil nuclear deal the Trump administration reached are unclear. Less than a day after the administration announced a deal, Trump announced two major amendments that Saudis dispute. THREAD
I love connecting with New Jerseyans at the Capitol and yesterday's Rutgers summer reception for students, internship supervisors, and alumni was no exception! It's always a joy to hear how NJ students are spending their summers and what they're setting out to achieve.
We can't just say what we're against. We have to say what we're for. That's why I introduced MediKids – it's my vision for the future of this country.
Every child deserves to get the care they need. That's what MediKids is all about. I spoke with @katiecouric.bsky.social about the urgent need for this legislation to help millions of American children and families.

I recently visited the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center in Cape May, NJ to meet with recruits and see the upgrades they are making to their facilities. I’m proud that all Coast Guard recruits come through New Jersey and I’m thankful for their service to our country.
It's always a joy to sit down with the latest class of interns in my D.C. office as they present policy solutions for issues they care about. From long-term care shortages to homelessness, I walked away inspired by their ideas to address these issues. Thank you for all your hard work this summer!
Cape May was home to Harriet Tubman during the early 1850s as she worked to fund Underground Railroad rescue missions. I’m proud to have secured $1 million in federal funding to help the Harriet Tubman Museum digitize historical archives and share NJ’s abolitionist history. 1/2
Small businesses are essential to our shore communities. Today, I visited downtown Avalon to hear about how they are dealing with high costs and inflation. It’s a wonderful time to visit the Jersey shore and support the local businesses that make our communities so special!
It was great to spend time in Cape May, a true Jersey gem! Thanks to Cape May MAC for showing me around several historic landmarks, including the Emlen Physick Estate, and teaching the community about Cape May’s history and culture as part of the Jersey shore.
Cathedral Kitchen provides meals, housing assistance, and job training to the Camden community. It was powerful to hear from the staff, culinary program graduates, and the people they serve about the community and support they've found here.
I'm helping to build an Einstein Corridor that will keep New Jersey on the cutting edge of technology and innovation. That's why I visited Subaru's headquarters in Camden – to hear from workers about the impact of tariffs and our country's reputation on their global business.
Yesterday, I stood alongside AFGE and former State Department employees who were fired by Trump last year. I remember that day vividly and I remember thinking, this is no way to treat people who served our nation. We must lead with service and expertise, not chaos.
It was great to meet with Korean American Civic Empowerment (KACE) high school students to hear about what motivates and draws them to public service. From tackling inequality to investing in education, these are the future leaders of our country who will make it happen!
When we invest in civic education for kids starting at a young age, we raise responsible and engaged adults. It was important to meet with iCivics, especially as we celebrate America's 250th birthday, to talk about what we need to do to make an impact in NJ classrooms.
From accessing veteran benefits to getting help filing taxes, no one should be denied critical assistance or resources because of language barriers. 1/2

How do we keep our nation safe? It’s not just about foreign policy. Economic security here at home is national security.
