Majisto the wizard first appeared in a Lego set in 1993 - the same year as Magic's debut.

Marvel draft has felt pretty straightforward to me, but one particularly enjoyable nuance of the format is how great the uncommon lands are. More of this in the future please.
Marvel set is pretty fun, but I may be more than a little excited for The Hobbit UB.
