a list of birds on Lark's "life list". Includes red whiskered bulbul, common tailorbird, oriental magpie-robin, common hoopoe (Lark really likes this one), white-brested waterhen (Wren really likes this one), and spotted dove.

Lark's "life list" continued: asian openbill, lesser coucal, red-wattled lapwing, yellow vented bulbul, asian glossy starling, great myna.

is there any greater high than photographing a bird that's listed as "rare" in the merlin bird app? Red whiskered bulbul, my beloved. They're protected from trappers in our neighbourhood, so we get wild pairs of them here. This lil guy was singing his head off this morning♡

so first week's been a lot of drawing...a stone shack. But we got 2.5 pages done. That's not quite 3, but it's a hell of a lot better than 0! So I'll celebrate it as a success. that said, I sure am comfy with how I'll be drawing backgrounds now lmaaoo maybe one day, I'll get to draw a character!!
