Feather jackpot on my run today! Unsure who could have dropped these, but there were quite a few along the trail today. Definitely looked like leucistic > normal feathers, so hopefully they were just from a molt and not cause the critter got got LMFAO
Summer Nights 5k! Constantly surprising myself on these races. Was not expecting a sub 14 min/mile on an evening run in 90°+ weather. A coughing fit I couldn’t outdo slowed me down, BUT overall sub 16 pace?? 47 min??? Middle of July?? Im coming for my Around the Crown 10k PR in Sept 🫵

But it feels SO good to be in a space I’m slowly dressing up with posters and art 🧡 It’s still pretty disorganized so I won’t share pictures, but once it’s all cute I definitely will! But I will share pictures of Merlin’s new office throne, which she can observe the garden in!
ART UPDATE🖊️✨ So sorry for the delay yall! It’s been chaotic here still— FINALLY looking at a chill weekend and days I don’t have to spend 3-5 hours just in the car running errands :,) But things have started moving! Desk is BUILT, office is COZY, and work has resumed!💪✨

Nothing heals me more than rocky shoal spider lily propagation day!!!! Collecting the seeds from these lovely endemic lilies and planting them downstream with Riverkeeper! It’s a fun paddle there to float around and pick seeds. Absolutely nothing beats it for me.
Check out the temper tantrum my cosmos, aster, and milkweed are throwing after moving them out of their polycule pot and into individual pots for transport to the new house (Cherry tomato plant is there for emotional support)
The final rooms in our house are now fully painted! I love how colorful everything is! 😭🧡 Moving tomorrow!! AAAHH!!!
Merlin has been living her best wermy life in all the packing supplies. We won’t see her for an hour but you just hear quiet shuffling inside the giant bag of paper scraps

PAINT!! Game room, bedroom, guest, office! Partners are finishing up the two unfinished rooms next weekend. Main hall, bathrooms, and living/kitchen are being painted by pros because 👍We Don’t Wanna👍 (it’s a cute muted green) It’s finally starting to feel like our space!
