a long while ago i wrote a "what software do you use" article on medium to clear up what kind of synths & plugins i'm using ... it's way out of date, now, so i thought i'd scrub thru my latest project file to share with you, friends, what i am in fact using a lot of these days: (track unannounced)
anyway, all that said, it's nice to be able to own all the breath of fire soundtracks because steam is apparently the only place you can just buy any of them that isn't an out of print cd or vinyl
anyway... here's some games on steam that i think are neat & you should play (accessible / searchable titles in alt text)
haha..... i just keep writing more music... oopsie stats time: the original version of the ost had 62 tracks, so i've added 10 whole new since early access began i can't say how many more are coming, but we have 4 more major milestone updates until 1.0, so, please look forward to it!
thanks for tuning in everyone! here's the tracklist, it'll be up on the archive in a couple days if you missed it!!
i was relieved to see that, even though the website doesn't mention it, the packaging does show that i wrote it... (the image size is pretty small, you'll just have to trust me) it doesn't seem like anyone can decide whether to spell it Traveling or Travelling, though...
found the mahjong fight girl cabinets at round 1 in namba and it is just about as extra as you'd expect for an arcade mahjong game with gacha girls... anyway i won both of my pickup games pretty easily
games i saw at bitsummit & really vibed with + added to my wishlist: (alt text for a list of names you can input into steam to find & wishlist!)
first mahjong parlor w/auto table experience :3 pictures are my nicest hand & my final one (bad) also there was a mahjong soul ad outside.... they are Aware
the way i nearly lost my mind finally seeing a long lost family member 🥹 thank you ueno zoo
progress update: i've reached the snowfly forest, most casual players hated enemy in the form of the earth dragon... it's the first boss you either learn or chip away with 1 hp chains doubling in dmg until you survive.... luckily, with elemental & weapon type knowledge he won't be as huge a deal~
the thing about the game, also, is that the character models continue to be the most absurdly detailed renders on the ps1, complete with blinking idles during close-ups
i took this as a challenge, so here's a screenshot thread as i play through vagrant story again, starting with a few screens from the first couple hours after that opening
we're back...... it's pride night!! here's a photo of the zambonis in rainbow lights
we went to our first vancouver goldeneyes game ☺️ live hockey is so fun!! they played the goldeneye 64 pause menu theme at the end of each period, which made me smile real big...
