Transgender, bisexual, autistic, amateur game designer, writer, and sometimes artist. My passion is existential horror. Current main project: You Will Die In This Place
Circuit board nails. This is what happens when you love Ghost in the Shell perhaps a little too much and a mischievous somebody puts the idea in your head.
My own copies of You Will Die In This Place arrived today, so I should be able to get some shoeboxes mailed off next week. I'm happy to say that, while the POD copies were nice, these ones are nicer. Definitely worth the delays and stress that switching plans mid-campaign involved.
Mine. @eerieseymour.bsky.social's Delta Green character, Rio, making a vegan meal for my Delta Green character.
Not in my own hands yet, but the physical copies of You Will Die In This Place have apparently finally arrived from the printer in Canada.
Handwriting individual and unique postit note annotations for each of the shoebox editions of You Will Die In This Place. I've been at this for four hours. I don't even know how many pages I've done because I intentionally didn't number them.
I did some infrared photography the other day - first time in a while.
Playing around with ideas for a -Borg style map of Norwich cathedral (and potentially other local landmarks) for no reason in particular.
I'm at Diceni in the Norwich Forum today with @eerieseymour.bsky.social. Drop by and say hi if you're around. I'll try to sell you a Mouldy Lettuce.
Ok, I'll admit that I was feeling a little downtrodden about going to Diceni tomorrow because it was going to be my first time at a con with nothing new to sell (YWDITP was so close, but it'll ready for Norwich Games Con instead), then these arrived!
My best friend gave me their arm for my birthday. I love it. Best and strangest birthday present.
This is definitely me. And my characters too. (I got 00's Indie Kid, which is not entirely accurate but the sentiment is correct.)
Fair warning to anyone planning to try. It is a real cipher of sorts, but I don't know that there's actually enough text to work with to solve it. Also, even if you do solve it, you would still need to invent the class abilities.
Test print went pretty well. Needs a few minor adjustments to the design, though. Mostly for fit and finish and to make the lid pivot more robust by adding a cavity for a piece of brass rod.
Making a dice box based on an ancient Egyptian cosmetics box that I saw in the British museum yesterday.
I'm just going to leave this here because I genuinely couldn't have done it without your technical and moral support and I won't stop letting people know that.
The moral of the story is 'fuck me, I guess'. I hold no ill will towards the dog, though. It was just being a dog. It was my fault for leaving the sandwich in reach.
I very hastily wrote my students a poem in the last few minutes of the lesson.
Costume! Forgot to put the black tiara on for the photo. Oh, I have to do a parents evening dressed like this. Hehe.
Hosted a Paint & Sip. I painted my Delta Green character extracting her most important bond from the Immersive Neural Interface.
MG Gundam Mk-V The results of a whole day of building and painting. I just needed to be alone and wholly distracted for a while. Quite happy with how it turned out, aside from slightly overdoing the weathering around the front vents. Borrowed the colour scheme from Amuro's Rick Dijeh.
So funny that these are both 1/100 scale kits. F91 era mobile suits are so tiny.
The results of a morning of collage making. Not really something I've done before, but it was an enjoyable social activity.
Working my way through the final edits for You Will Die In This Place. Notes like this one make it a much more enjoyable process. I think the ability to keep an author motivated is an important and underrated skill for an editor to have.
