First pass on the color for the main reference. I like the lighter belly, but I think the flanks need more of the dark blue. Inside of the legs could use some color gradients as well. Eventually these colors will be blurred together, and I will add cool patterns to the wings. #WIP #oc

For the #krita users, do you have any advice, or know of a good tutorial, that explains selection masks? It seems like a very powerful tool to have all the colors on the same layer, but for some reason I can never get the colors to show up properly. More detailed explanation of problem in ALT text.
