I keep seeing its World Snake Day, so here’s a couple sneks I drew recently. New mermaid character Cassandra, and companion sticker featuring her base species the Blue Viper. 🐍 Be nice to the snakes, they’re just trying to survive like the rest of us! ;)

Feeling like Cinderella today, my MIL took me shopping at Torrid so I’d have something nice to wear to an upcoming wedding. Ended up getting me a whole wardrobe. 🥹 I never go shopping so I have like 3-4 nice things I wear in rotation and the rest is cheap stuff that falls apart fast. It’s next to -

For once, an ad that is actually aiming at me correctly. lol (I did get my rat cage add-on from Chewy though so that’s probably why.)

Firing up the ol’ laminator today for a bookmark. I hardly ever (almost never) get commissioned for these, or badges, anymore. Are they just not as sought after anymore or is it because mine are expensive? 🤔

Please somebody explain to me my aversion to just buying new pencils. I’m not this broke. lol

Happy 4th to those who celebrate. I’m just hanging out with family and swimming today. Been rescuing wasps and little bees out of the pool.

This is a better look at the fabric - it’s a flowery lace pattern laid over a dark green silky one. We had an extremely small private wedding so this was the only thing I really spent much money on. I have used the leftover flowery part on my table at cons as well.

This week is my rest/personal art week, already working on something early today. I’m gonna go ahead and close for July, I didn’t fill all slots but husband says we’ll be okay. I’ll be back to try for August slots in a couple weeks.

I keep having this thought that it might be interesting to pair up some of my characters and design their offspring. Mixing traits to make new designs that call back to the parents could be a fun challenge. I have a few couples in mind already but who would you be most interested in combining?

My two completed commissions for this week, both for the same person. My July queue is still open, but I’ll have to close on Tuesday so if you want in this round, now’s the time.

My ruler just fell down into the crack between my desks. 🤬
