Week 6 - To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar I don't think I can fit all my feelings about this album into one post. It's amazing - unmatched lyricism and flow, stellar, varied instrumentals throughout, and just a beautifully crafted album. Please listen to it.
Week 5 - Disintegration by The Cure A lot more pop influence than I expected, but I really like the sound! Low, punchy drums, phaser-heavy guitars, shiny synths, and Robert Smith's breathy, almostdesperate vocals give all the songs this really pretty sound with an undercurrent of sadness.
