taste of metal, belly of the beast

three digital drawings, in grayscale, done in heavypaint.
first one depicts a person walking through a wasteland-like landscape. there’s a feeling of an industrial junkyard to it (because that’s basically what that place is). other small silhouettes are also there, but they’re much farther away from us.
second one depicts the same silhouette standing before an open belly of a spaceship, with all kinds of wires and mechanisms visible. all kinds of metal junk litters the space around them.
third one depicts the same (or not?) open belly of a spaceship, but much closer this time. now there’s also the second silhouette standing beside the first one stretching their arm towards them.

the machine

bird with a meaning

sketchbook drawings of a bird called storm petrel. i saw the bird mentioned in a book i was reading (in a context of a human being called a stormy petrel), and i didn’t know what that meant, so i had to look it up. languages are hard and i have to speak three of them daily. anyway, ‘stormy petrel’ is a rebellious person.

lucky star (2024)

digital drawing inspired by halsey's album,
"the great impersonator". it depicts a doll that has some resemblance to halsey's appearance, with their red, long haired wig and the tattoos placement. the doll is
"unscrewed", has many different replaceable arms that all could be fitted to the body, all looking differently and making different gestures. a real human hand (in grayscale), "disconnected" from the body (there's no body to connect it to in the first place), is holding a screwdriver. another human hand, drawn in the same way, is making a hear shape (🫶) with one of the mechanical hands. a human head that also looks more like a head of a ghost (and also resembles halsey's appearance, but without the wig or wild makeup), is looking to the side, with a single tear on their cheek. the puppet is smiling and winking. it is visible that the chest of the puppet is empty, and there's no heart inside.
