the #1 most requested feature has been added to the game. you may now have a cat. you can pet the cat. you can make the cat follow you. it's basically a dog because i duplicated the dog and made it a cat. hang tight while i make it more catlike wishlist Alpine Lake pls thank you

In Alpine Lake redecorating is easy, and doesn't require hoarding resources and crafting 1000's of new items. styles are unlocked and you're free to redecorate as much as you like. Also I noticed players used wooden flooring to make paths around their inns. now pathing is a full fledged feature!

i feel like players know my game better than i do at this point. people ask me "so what can you do in your game?" i'm always like "iunno stuff"

While shirt and skin color options are limited, there's a solid character creator.

Your inn earns "reputation points" every time a customer checks out, and you can spend reputation points at town hall to get "licenses" to install a kitchen, a restaurant, more guest rooms, etc.

Adding furniture and décor boost your inn's functionality score, stylishness score, and vibes like "relaxing" or "inspiring," while also giving clients things to interact with. Clients want rooms that match their vibes, but also take public facilities into account when reviewing their stay (e.g. a burning fireplace in the lobby buffs everyone's comfort score).

A lot of indie life sims add farming for no reason other than to add farming, but Alpine Lake gives you a reason: planting, harvesting, and arranging flowers in vases boosts your inn's style points.

There's also a reason to explore: every map location has different traits and often animated wildlife, and you can suggest destinations to customers based on the customer's specific interests. If they have a good time, they bring back gifts.

The dog's name is Pep, and you can both pet her and invite her to follow you everywhere.

HONEST QUESTION. I made a two roofing systems (left is old, right is very new) They both have their pros and cons, but i'm not sure i want to support both. What do you all think? Which type of roofing system would you want in to use? #indiedev #indiegame
