This is not the first time someone has died during an ICE raid - in fact, it’s at least the fifth, in addition to the 32 lives lost in detention this past year. In this particular case, we have clear evidence of what really happened:

Why, when it feels so horrible to look at, would we watch? Because too often, ICE commits atrocities behind closed doors, in unmarked vehicles, & with no body cameras on.

Grey background with yellow text says The only thing protecting truth is our willingness to see it. And this is the truth: that Renee Good was murdered. This was not an act of self-defense, but a predictable result of rising militarism.

This happened because of the proliferation of ICE agents into our neighborhoods. This happened because the rise of fascism, authoritarianism, and fear is dangerous.

We remember the righteous gentiles in Europe who risked their lives to save Jews during WWII.

We remember what happens when nationalism, scapegoating, and dehumanization take over.

📣 Renee Nicole Good was killed while watching ICE. We must continue to bare witness. This last week, an ICE agent murdered Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis. There are videos of this murder, which many of you have probably unwittingly seen scrolling through social media feeds or watching the news.

On March 13, 2025, DHS arrested Leqaa and sent her more than 1,500 miles away to a detention facility in Texas, far from her family, friends, and community in Paterson, NJ.

Leqaa Kordia is a young Palestinian woman who is being subjected to retaliatory and viewpoint discriminatory immigration confinement, because of her speaking out about Palestine - where Israeli military violence has claimed nearly 200 members of her own family.
