Ken Anderson held onto the official high score for VCS Pac-Man for nearly 40 years. Probably inspired by Uston’s book, he wrote a version for Atari 2600 players to master. As best as 5 minutes of Googling can tell, no known copies of Anderson’s book exists today.
“Mastering Pac-Man” by Ken Uston is considered a seminal work; perhaps the first ever video game strategy guide and one that’s been in print since the early 1980s. But could I interest you in “Mastering HOME PAC-Man by a different man named Ken?
If you can believe it it was too damned hot for the beach but it’s starting to finally cool down just in time for fireworks
Man, just look at those two streaks. What a difference a week can make
This is nice. Baseball is nice. Even if it gets soggy from time to time (unless you’re in a dome #RaysUp)
They’ve been dumping dozens of bags of dirt to rebuild the infield. They ran out of the red clay color so now it’s little league tan
They finally got it fully across the diamond but there is now a large lake in right field
lol the tarp got stuck halfway across and now the infield is leaking into the outfield
Overpriced yet still tasty hot dog and players I’ve never heard of. It’s minor league baseball baby
And this is the after. If you grew up playing Soul Blazer in Europe it was already FastROM, but needless to say, the U.S. version left a lot to be desired.
Not sure how well Bluesky will handle the video processing, but here is how it was before...
Since I don't know how to trigger one or the other, playing it in Japanese only gives me one version, so I cannot compare it myself without really diving into the Japanese rom... which I'm not sure I want to do.
And fixed! Thanks again for letting me know, I'll wait a bit for any additional bug reports and will eventually release a 1.01.
Any recommendations for a wireless PSX controller? My Super Station One finally shipped and want to be cord free. Saw this at the local game store but I don’t trust it.
