I love active ocean water, but sometimes chill river exploration can be just what the soul needs. Otters, seals, ducks, and plenty of birds.
Recorded some lovely “barely-there” redwood forest air/“room tone” with a gentle breeze, almost no birds or insects, and zero or anthropophony for 15 minutes. If you don’t do #fieldrecording, it’s hard to express how rare that is.

Post-work screening of the modular synth documentary “I Dream of Wires.” I own the “Hardcore Edition” on DVD but we had to call it at the three hour mark.

I may never run this (too much crunch for me) but it’s chock full of bold, modern, great ideas worth stealing. Environment stat blocks are genius, as are Communities for PCs, among many other examples. Written to be inclusive and welcoming. Metacurrencies that work. So much to be commended here.

Just finished watching the film Relay, because I will watch ANYTHING with Riz Ahmed in it. Enjoyed and would recommend! Good mix of 70s corporate paranoia and noir genres, with modern tech.
Museums I wish I had time to visit on my recent vacation. (That last one is a neck tie museum.)
The architecture of Ljubljana’s library reflects struggle rather than ease; this strikes me as an accurate reflection of learning and growth. Don’t think I’ve had a building speak truth to me before.
