what gets me is at the end when adam cole, hand on shoulder, says "Thank you, my friend." in the most comforting affirmative tone imaginable 😞
holy smokes 💥 call me frankenstein the way im reanimating dead hardware > 32bit processor > 2GB of ram after testing different distros, linux mint 19.3 xfce edition worked best. its no longer being supported but the software it does have is recent enough that its actually usable
i upgraded the JPEG shader pass to actually perform DCT quantization, previously i only did subsampling for the chroma channels tl: jpeg effect look more jpeg-ey :)
like could i just use the built-in effect from vts? yeah.. but this is cooler you get depth !!!!
a pseudo-height map is generated in real time with the jump-flood algorithm on the alpha channel then I use that to warp the video and control the intensity of the light relative to that height.
been working on this projector effect with OBS shaders, i think it adds a really cool effect :>
idea 💡restaurant-style task tracking system how awesome would it feel to stab each task through a skewer like slaying a foul beast in combat
changed the clear-canvas button to a "hold for 3 seconds" one. hopefully this should stop accidental deletions and give more time to reconsider :>
I might have just made the coolest guestbook in the entire indie web 😎💥 Draw something maybe? numa-smells.nekoweb.org/guestbook/
i think i figured out how to add comments via google sheets. i've made it so the comments are separated between the main page and any blog posts I make. maybe leave a comment or something :> numa-smells.nekoweb.org
shockingly different from yesterday 😅 goes to show a little goes a long way
i made a blog on nekoweb 🧍 it is terribly bare bones but i can write stuff on it. numa-smells.nekoweb.org
the effect is most noticable with high contrast scenes, probably best for atmostpheric stuff hrmm hrmm
wrote an OBS shader for myself to make more realistic screen-lighting happen. we're using the jump-flood algorithm to make a sort of height map, then using that to magnify and intensify the lighting from the source image ✌️✌️ hell yeah
