It's the final day of artistic Lunar New Year lanterns at Robson Plaza, Bentall Centre, and šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl'e7énḵ Square. Here is animator and illustrator H. Kristen Campbell's Ember, which is on one of 10 lanterns in The Lantern City exhibition on the south side of the Vancouver Art Gallery.

Today is the Lantern Festival (also the last day of Lunar New Year). Eating Yuanxiao or Tangyuan on the Lantern Festival symbolizes "reunion", "completeness", and "happiness". The round shape represents family gatherings & harmonious coexistence. It expresses wish for sweet & peaceful future.
