Gotta be honest, was really hoping this was a supernatural detective game
A shocking amount of gun shooting in my first hour with Donkey Kong 64.
I have successfully ascended to a higher plane of existence with this kick ass setup.
Getting ready to watch the final episode of Stranger Things with my kids. Been a blast rewatching it with them—very proud of my six-year-old for being so brave!! (Lots of feelings while watching this show!) First time we have a watched a show, start to finish, as a family.
Manbreaker conquered. The piss mountain scaled. I can no longer feel pain or joy—but I am finally free.
Here are the reviews, btw. Again, very cute. And apologies to Nintendo for my nine-year-old only giving the game a 7/10. It's out of my control!

I climbed. I climbed impossibly high. And then I came back down.
The bridge!!! I need a stiff drink after surviving that climb in Cairn. Holy hell. I’ve rarely felt a game grab hold of my body that way. I could feel my whole self seizing up in fear on the final moves.
By day, I climb Baby Steps. By night, I begin climbing a new mountain: Cairn.
First book of 2026 finished: The Ruins, recommended by @kirkhamilton.com. Utterly haunting story about a group of young idiots being slowly killed by their own hubris and, well, the scariest plants ever. Loved it.
