there was MUCH debate in my mind over whether he should keep the stripes or not but ultimately im happy i changed it bc i find the simple white-tipped tail much cuter LOL he had this very complex design for like ?! two weeks in 2023 LOL u can tell I didn’t know what I was doing with him yet

lately I’ve been thinking abt my first real OC/imaginary friend … Duke Happypaw!! he was my animal jam avatar, who I made a bunch of lore for & used in RP. he dates back to ~2013 and was there for me through the most traumatic years of my life :’) he’s still very precious to me (old & new art!)

i really “cuteified” and sanded down a lot of these OCs as time went on bc i started judging myself for how weird they were. but looking back it makes me sooo sad bc the originals were so much more striking. especially disgrace he was so ugly but so cool and i made him so lame LOL

the same multicolored doglike OC as the quoted post. he is a bit grotesque. his limbs attach to him with glowing veinlike connections. he has a smiley face on his nose and three tendril-like tails

i miss the absolute craziness of my middle school era OCs LOL… none of this art is up to snuff anymore (it’s from over ten years ago!) but i just love how bizarre all my character concepts and designs were back then. i was just making up some bullshit
