Love hitting a PR because I'm too lazy to change out the plates on my adjustable dumbells.
Gonna be chasing this high again for a while. This was the best beef I've had since I worked in a restaurant that bought from a local co-op.
I got fresh local beef from one of the nearby farms and I am so excited for a steak dinner tonight! They even threw in some chili seasoning and an air freshener (no idea if it is beef scented or not 😂) Damn, I love living in Stardew Valley.
I'm gonna need people who don't know shit about instruments to stop saying "Jason Newsted is a better bass player than Rob Trujillo" because that is objectively incorrect. 1/2
Castle Rat is better than I expected them to be. I should probably try to see them before they blow up entirely and the tickets get crazy expensive.
Chili in the Crock-Pot because I can't be bothered to heat up the kitchen in this weather.
Got my donor Famicom board with a good PPU. I have the parts for the AV mod, 6 conductor cable wire to extend the hard wired controllers (Japanese consoles have notoriously short controller cables) and all my flash cart. Now I just need the famicom 😂 Next step: a 15 pin light gun
I will absolutely not be going outside to work out today. Outside feels like stepping into someone's mouth. After the work week I had, I don't feel bad about it either. Tomorrow and Friday ain't looking good either.
I think someone overdid it on the retr0brite. It obviously isn't yellow but the purple and dark grey are completely faded and the light grey is blotchy. I don't really mind the blotches but the faded purple is a slight disappointment. As long as it works I can work with the faded parts.
I did it, but I need to rethink my upper days a bit. I am seeing tricep growth which is awesome, but I believe I am over working them. I am pretty sure I pulled my right bicep. Ow
The open air gym might just be the best thing I've ever done for my health. I look forward to spending time out there in nature moving weight around. Now I just need to get myself walking more and dial in that nutrition again and I'll be checking off all the boxes.
Getting it done in the heat and humidity. Still better than the gym
Lil' dude just out here contemplating life
First training session in the new open air home gym. Feeling good! Little bit down on weight because I took a few weeks off moving but otherwise this was great. Glad to be back to it.
My screened in porch gym, complete with rack, adjustable dumbells, bench with leg attachments, EZ curl bar, resistance bands, and plate loaded cable system, fresh air, gym buddies & sunshine! Not featured: Crowds, shitty music, sweat smell. No more gym membership for me baby!
Man, nerd culture is just no fun anymore. I randomly came across the video of Steve Ballmer sweating through his shirt screaming about "developers, developers, DEVELOPERS!" At a .NET conference. We don't get shit like this anymore. Today's nerds are missing out.
The new neighbors came up to the fence to introduce themselves. They seem pretty nice. Pretty quiet. Kind of the outdoorsy type.
Can someone please tell me why every "updated" version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles always has some form of whole head bandana? I hate it although that's probably just me being an old man who is set in his ways.
