A render I've made of @beckbutts.bsky.social's character Beck. Starting to use the fluid painter geometry nodes again. It's quite hard to get a natural looking result though.
I've finally got a new model in my shop! Go and check out Beck here: www.patreon.com/picti/posts/...
A render I've made of @beckbutts.bsky.social's character Beck. The lighting here was a pain in the ass to figure out, but mainly because I wouldn't want to budge from the cloud idea in the background. Trouble of my own making.
A commissioned render I made for @asneewukong.bsky.social with their character, also featuring Radu and Lucario
A render I made with @rocketfluffy.bsky.social's character Ysabella Casa. This is actually one of my favorite renders I've made so far. I'm extremely happy with how this one came out!
A render I made for @asneewukong.bsky.social with their commissioned character. Lots of squash and stretch going on in this one.
A render I made with @rocketfluffy.bsky.social 's character Ysabella Casa. I've been finding it fun to set up polygonal masks in the Blender compositor, and using them for the background. It brings a bit more pop to the otherwise empty backgrounds.
A render I made for @asneewukong.bsky.social with their commissioned character. The leg folding works when looking from this side too. Very happy with the leg changes for the rig, even if it's not perfect yet.
A render I made with @rocketfluffy.bsky.social's character Ysabella Casa. There were some issues with the subsurface modifier not properly smoothing the UVs. This seems like an issue with Blender, but I was able to build a workaround with geo nodes, deleting the long strands.
A render I made with @asneewukong.bsky.social's commissioned character. The deltoid deformation is working a lot better with this new rig. I'm also a big fan of how the hair cards look.
The first render I made with @rocketfluffy.bsky.social's character Ysabella Casa. Some hair node reworking now allows me to keep clumps even during deformation of the mesh.
Love how the new fur shader looks here. The body fur uses the transparency setup, while the pubic fur is completely opaque.
Retopology and UVs. The first pic is the retopology target, cobbled together from previous characters.
The another render I made for @asneewukong.bsky.social with their commissioned character. This is still mainly a render to test the viability of my new rig system in extreme poses. Folding the legs up to the chest had been a problem before, but the new rig behaves better.
Turns out that small temporary rigs are quite helpful for the blockout stage of characters as well. Especially with breasts which shapes are quite hard to get right for me...
Adding a darker bevel around the tattoo's outlines is making it look so much nicer on the skin.
