The wildflower patch has given us so much joy throughout the month. The colours have slowly changed and it has been wonderful to share each visit with so many bees and other pollinators. Here's how it changed. #FlamingJune

wildflowers - 6 June. mostly red poppies and some blue cornflowers and white oxeye daisies

10 days later - 16 June - still dominated by the poppies

23 June. now many more cornflowers of different colour (blue / pink / purple) along with white flowers. occasional red poppy

the flowers today. mostly blues and pinks now, few yellows and purples. long stems which are leaning. still lots of bees about.
