You’ve probably heard news about an important tax vote we had today. Republicans walked out grinning about attacking us in November, but it’s already backfiring. Why? It’s pretty simple. We should not be adding new taxes during an affordability crisis.

Last night still feels unreal. This was a massive team effort. We showed the many can beat the money, that we don’t have to go negative, and that *field still matters.* Some numbers: - Our results were 60.01/39.99 - We won the SD7 special by 374 votes - Josh won Gwinnett by 676 votes 1/

Election Day is tomorrow! Every vote will count. Just ask our friend Sam Foster whose race came down to 89 votes! Polling locations are open 7am to 7pm tomorrow. You can check all your voter details on mvp.sos.ga.gov

Anyone who has seen even a tiny fraction of our work knows our ethos is we don’t back down or quit. Ever. Until the fight is over, we have an obligation to try. It’s why we refused to listen when people said we can’t turn SD7 around. 2/

While we’re pushing ourselves to the brink to keep SD7 blue, our opponent is launching ads saying I quit the State House, a lie. I’m still a sitting State Rep. On top of that, his reports are full of max outs from some of the most pro war and pro Israel people in the state 1/

Oftentimes, Pride Month is full of mostly corporate merch and hollow slogans. It should be a commitment to each other. We cannot protect our own freedoms while taking anyone else's away. Any laws written to oppress a group of people inevitably impacts all of us.
