I think game game still exists but it plays nothing like it used to & the old community has dispersed entirely. It left a hole in my soul literally no other game could (and probably will) ever fill. To all the gamers who grew up with & in D2: free virtual hugs here. I know how you feel.
once upon a time, there used to be a game called AirRivals. it was 14-year-old Red's gateway to online gaming AND communities. it was the best 4 years of my gaming life, ever, before the korean style legal gambling took over and the playerbase tanked in the wake of corporate greed.
