My domain sat unused for months because "rebuilding a website" felt like a weekend project. Yesterday I wrote specs for what I wanted, handed them to GPT 5.6 Sol with Astro, and had a working site in 60 minutes. Code and walkthrough in thread 🧵

WeAreDevelopers 2026 is done. 2 workshops, 2 talks, booth demos, "Football for Good" hackathon. It was a lot but the people and conversations made it all worth it. Now my focus is on video and written content and sample apps for a while. :)

It has been 4 weeks since Ricardo Sueiras and I started the livestream series called "Fullstack for Noobs". We are building a game live over Twitch, YouTube and LinkedIn by using Kiro and discussing a lot of technical points to build this game. (1/3)

Next, I came back home on last Sunday and I ran the Berlin half marathon. A bit slower than my goal due to a tiny injury at the end but I made it happen. 🏃‍➡️🇩🇪

Last week has been quite busy for me. Let's do a recap! 💻💼📱 First I flew to Paris to meet great folks from Flutter and React Native communities. I gave a talk at Flutter Connection about full-stack Dart and how power of AI can help us through the deployment processes. 🤖🚀🇫🇷

Yesterday, I had my second talk of the year internally to over 100 people. I love doing public talks and meeting the community but I believe internal talks are really important to get to know your peers and actually collect their feedback as they are our first users :)

I was checking out some numbers from last year and I just realized I did "33 talks" last year. This doesn't include all the other work that I did such as livestreams, videos, sample apps, releases and testing and blog posts. A nice challenge is waiting for me in 2025 🫳🎤

After two sessions, two demos, workshop and booth supports, 115000 steps or 84 km distance (will not convert to miles) of walk, finally I am going back home from #reinvent2024. It was an amazing 6 non stop days, I learned a lot, met with old friends, made new ones. Let’s do it again next year :)

Third day of my third #reinvent started 🙌 I will be supporting a workshop today and I will show a cool demo about building and refactoring your mobile application with Amazon Q Developer :)
