#Showmeyourknits and #FOFriday - knitting edition! Lovely props, and beautiful ceramics, are elements that make photographing my knits that much enjoyable! Particularly finding pieces that echo elements, or colours, of my finished knits. 💜🧶 Two of my favourites shown with the finished Sprinzig! 😄

It's #WIPWednesday 😄 I have 3 WIP's at the moment! Firstly, we have the last 9 squares of my book blanket, the middle 3 have the new edge colour. The stripe a day sock is growing and lastly we have the scarf! 💜 Patterns: Painted Roses Blanket, Painting Bricks Socks & Sprinzig #crochetsky #knitsky

Squeezing in one last #showmeyourknits textures! Inspired by @veg-grower.bsky.social gorgeous linen stitch cowls, I decided to start one too!! Absolutely loving it!! 😁🧶 This one is going to be knitted entirely from scrap, I'm using a large pile of odd undyed DK, and rainbow gradient of Rios! ❤️🩷💜💙💚

Loving this week's #showmeyourknits textures prompt! 🧶 My lastest FO is the Squash Blossom Hat and I love the textures created by the twisted stitches and lace in this pattern! With the hat we have a gem squash! I did have a blue pumpkin in mind but it was a bit too big for the camera frame 😁

It's #WIPWednesday and textures week for #showmeyourknits Soo, the first stripe a day sock is now done, and I've started the cuff of sock no 2! 🤍💚🧡🩷 The pattern for these is Painting Bricks socks by Westknits. #knitsky 🧶

And I have a #FOFriday post too!! 🌱🤍🩶🤎 The seed socks are finished!! No pattern at the moment, but they feature the Sunflower seed lace pattern and are the first pair socks inspired by gardens and those who tend them! There are a few more ideas in mind, 🤞the others work out too! 😄🧶 #knitsky #knit

I have been planning a new sock collection, called the gardener, inspired by this special someone we know 🤭 I thought of doing a pair inspired by seeds, pollinators and a geometric pair inspired by things like raised beds &garden gates... I originally had gold in mind for the third colour, but wasn't that happy with it so switched to the chartreuse, which I love!! 💚🧡❤️🖤 #knitsky 🧶

For #showmeyourknits this week - interpretations of Light and Dark. I picked the Kaarina Shawl by Sari Nordlund for the interpretation of light. 🤍🧶 For the dark, my current WIP, Imagineur by Nadia Crétin-Léchenne, which despite it's avian influences, has a dark and fiery feel which I just love! 🧡❤️🖤
