Early dusk, sky still showing some blue, horizon faint pink
Trees melt into each other appear black
Deciduous treetops in horizon with no leaves
Ground is covered with white snow ankle deep

I transplanted some rocket snapdragons into a planter to over winter inside, the plan.. The last dahlia tubers we brought in last week. Dahlias strangely flowered beautifully from early summer until the frost took them in Octobe.

I too am enjoying marigolds I am hoping to discover the tall African varieties with red

Background raw wood shed

Would anyone know what is wrong with this dahlia stem? Several potted , bloomed all summer, and now this one stem looks like it is dying

Green leaves and in the centre is a dead blossom bud dark brown to black surrounded by yellowing leaves with brown on them with one looking dried and curling up. All surrounding leaves and stems healthy looking
