Right now, all use of commercially-produced genA.i./LLMs causes harm. If saying "using this makes people lose trust in you" and "this causes XYZ harms & should never be used" makes someone double down on their ACTIVE CHOICE TO HARM ("just a little bit, responsibly"), then I have to invoke Bors:

This is horrifying to see, in a plea to prevent science from being undermined by people who have no business making science-funding decisions. Publicly-available A.i. is one of the dangers and what you get out of it will partially reflect the biases of people undermining non-tech research!
