Done with Saihate no Ima. I'll write a new Patreon post in early January about my more detailed preliminary thoughts, but in short: it is a nightmarish, literally headache-inducing, painful, frustrating read, which is perfect for a game about where the internet was (and did) heading circa 2005.

The auto-dubbing is just unambiguously horrible and should not exist, it feels like companies continuing to crusade against the mere idea people may speak more than one language. The enhancements are more debatable but I don't think any of these are necessary, and wrestle control away from artists.

Friendly reminder for anyone who makes YouTube videos to make sure you disable auto-dubbing and whatever the "quality enhancements" are. These got enabled automatically after I already disabled them some weeks ago....
