At this year's #KinderuniMedizin at the @meduniwien.ac.at, our scientists held a workshop entitled "From building block to disease: Understanding cells, genes and cancer," where children between the ages of 7 and 9 learned about what cells and the DNA are and how they work.

🚨New paper alert! Researchers in Davide Seruggia's lab unraveled a new molecular mechanism that could predispose children to develop leukemia: ccri.at/mechanism-of... The team found that the protein ARID5B regulates normal B cell development, and alterations in ARID5B could increase leukemia risk.
