He/him. Occasionally amusing. Mainly food bikes and dogs Kirikiriroa (Hamilton NZ) Pinned Skeet - I know we can't buy our way out of the climate crisis, but the joy I feel every time I ride my cargo bike makes me feel like it should be a thing.
Any Seattle based cargo bike people - this awesome R&M Load is for sale on FB in the R&M owners group. The price is awesome for this fantastic bike.
I've been known to visit the neighbors and remove the dead thing that Zoe wanted (and also have a brick reinforcement at the bottom of the fence so she can't dig.) Still the last springer would happily jump a 1.8m fence so this is an improvement.
Tonight's dinner was Green. This broccoli and chickpea salad by Getty Liu Mckinnon is sooo good.
So a few weeks ago I read about a medieval travel snack the was essentially pine nut and ginger brittle. I’m going to make it soon. But it did start me thinking and so tonight I made the first iteration of scroggin brittle…. Not perfect but 7/10 will work on the concept

So finally did the assembly of my GOES satellite dish. Hopefully can get it working this weekend.
When I harvested my jalwa chilli plant there were a few green ones that weren’t super hot. I did a quick pickle and today I put some in the nachos and ate a couple. 11/10 recommend I do it again. Simple sugar/salt brine with mustard seeds coriander seeds (out of garden too) and dried garlic.
