Went to the Etruscan exhibit at the SF Legion of Honor today. I knew a little bit about the Etruscans from visits to Tuscany, but I didn't realize how many things we commonly attribute to the Romans were things they got from the Etruscans as they conquered and absorbed them over a period of 400yrs.
Super long line for the 11am showing of The Odyssey IMAX (15/70mm). I guess the chuds were wrong about it tanking. Also, we're super fortunate to have one of only 25 IMAX theaters in the country showing the full 15/70 format.

Looks like I'll be looking for a new WiFi mesh setup. Had some issues with the Eero app showing all devices as offline even when they weren't, as well as losing connection to local devices (Plex server, etc). Turns out Eero support can see your entire network, including passwords.

I dropped some bird feed while moving our feeder, and this bad boy showed up to clean it up. He also killed a squirrel. Red shouldered hawk.
Now that Reddit plans to block un-logged-in viewing on old.reddit (which they're already doing on regular reddit), I added this Brave Goggle (not to be confused with Google) to Brave Search. It filters out all Reddit, Pinterest, and Quora links from search results.
Yep, and if you go to the Portland Retro Gaming Expo, Atari and AtariAge both usually have huge booths, with tons of the latest (new!) games for 2600/5200/7800/Jaguar/8-bit available for play and purchase. It's a pretty amazing sight for such old systems.

I also have a clean OG '78 copy. It's fantastic, but the MFSL version is better.
#NowSpinning Dire Straits (Self Titled) 2019 MFSL 45rpm half-speed master. Stunning version of this album, which was already an amazing sounding record. Takes an incredibly well recorded record and makes it even better. The soundstage is large and detailed. Dead quiet wax.
