We have a packed agenda for day 3️⃣ of #TIMRA2026 with sessions on AI and big data and our supply chain database. At yesterday’s networking session, participants shared lessons learned from addressing #TobaccoIndustry interference in their countries, including the value of collaboration. #Training
#TIMRA2026 day 2️⃣ has started with sessions on building evidence and defamation, followed by training on political mapping and how to stay safe while investigating the tobacco industry. Participants will also have the opportunity to showcase their own work during a networking session this afternoon.

The European Conference on Tobacco or Health opened in Milan today. #ECToHMilan2026 Our research associate Dr. Zaineb Sheikh presented on the weakening impact of the UK’s minimum excise tax on tobacco. Dr Sheikh also took part in a special event to celebrate the best of the 2023 ECToH conference.
