The 1951 Refugee Convention turns 75 on 28th July 2026. Seventy-five years later, its purpose has not diminished. With conflicts persisting across the globe, forced displacement at historic levels and millions of people fleeing persecution and violence, it is as needed today as it was 75 years ago.
