Twitch City is maybe the only obscure pull here, but its original run entranced me as a kid, entirely focusing on the life of a Toronto man who just sits inside all day and watches TV. god tier cast incl Don McKellar, Molly Parker, Callum Keith Rennie. it was one of the first DVDs i ever sought out.

i'm all over the place again this week. flagboy giz' "we outside" sent me down a new orleans wormhole, so i've been rediscovering the likes of toussaint, muhammad, and the meters. that plus my usual doses of weird electronic music and depressed guy metal.

this week was mostly synthpop and black metal, with experimental electronic music bridging the gap
